The sleuths of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday searched the Jodhpur residence of a suspected terrorist handler nabbed by security agencies for “his cross-border links”.
The premier investigation agency interrogated the suspect’s parents for four to five hours as part of its investigation into Zeeshan (19), a native of Sojati Gate in Jodhpur.

Zeeshan was arrested by a joint team of the Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan Police some months ago for allegedly operating an online radicalisation group to brainwash youths and induce them to engage in anti-national activities. Later, the NIA also registered a case against him.
The parents of the accused were reportedly grilled to examine their son’s potential connections with foreign terror networks, including ISIS and the ISI.
The NIA team thoroughly searched Zeeshan’s house for four hours, seized his bullet motorcycle and also collected his bank account statements. Zeeshan’s parents reportedly said they had never heard of any such links involving their son.
