Patanjali University signs MoU with Indonesia’s lone Hindu University UHN for academic, Yoga collaboration
Members of Indonesia's academic community and individuals devoted to Sanatan traditions witnessed the signing ceremony.
As part of the campaign, several activities will be organised over the next 10 days, including cycle rallies, bike rallies, yoga camps, public awareness programmes, poster and slogan competitions, street plays and interactive sessions.
With an aim to build a drug-free society, Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali University on Wednesday launched launched the ‘Drug-Free India Campaign – An Identity of a Developed India’.
The programme was organised in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, reiterating the objectives of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the university and the ministry to promote awareness about a drug-free society.

Dueing the campaign, members of the university took a pledge to build a drug-free society and expressed their commitment by participating in a signature campaign.

On the occasion, Baba Ramdev, Acharya Balkrishna, Sadhvi Devpriya and Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Mayank Agarwal were acknowledged as sources of inspiration and guidance for the initiative.
The programme was attended by senior educationist Dr K.N.S. Yadav, Registrar Dr Deepesh Saxena, Deputy Registrar Dr Nirvikar, Controller of Examinations Dr A.K. Singh, along with deans, directors, faculty members, research scholars, administrative officers, staff members and other distinguished guests.

The initiative is being viewed as an important step towards increasing anti-drug awareness among young people and strengthening the resolve of “Drug-Free India, Developed India.”
