“Today, more than 51,000 youth have received appointment letters for government jobs. Today, all of you are becoming important partners, responsible partners, in the country’s development journey,” PM Modi said.
The Prime Minister also referred to his recent five-country visit and said India’s growing global partnerships would create new opportunities for young people.
“I just returned from a trip to five countries two days ago. It was only a five-nation trip, but during this time, I spoke, had detailed discussions, and met with leaders of major companies from dozens of countries,” PM Modi said.
“I felt one thing in common everywhere: The world is very excited about India’s youth and India’s technological progress. Today, the world wants to be a part of India’s development journey,” he added.
PM Modi said discussions during the visit focused on sectors such as semiconductors, artificial intelligence, green technology, defence, critical minerals, science and technology, agriculture and advanced manufacturing.
He said agreements with countries including the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, the UAE and Italy would directly benefit India’s youth in the coming years.

Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh said several state governments had also started organising similar recruitment drives inspired by the Centre’s Rozgar Mela initiative.
“Inspired by your experiment with ‘Rozgar Mela’, many state governments have also started organising similar job fairs for state-level recruitment,” Singh said while addressing the Prime Minister.
He claimed that around 5.5 to 6 lakh jobs had been generated through similar initiatives in states including Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar, Assam, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Odisha, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh and Tripura.
The 19th Rozgar Mela was held across 47 locations nationwide. Newly recruited candidates will join various Union ministries and departments, including the Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of Financial Services and Department of Higher Education.
The recruitment drive targets candidates aged between 18 and 35 years and includes applicants from varied educational backgrounds ranging from Class 8 pass candidates to graduates, diploma holders and ITI-certified youth.
