Due Process
Every dowry death shocks the conscience. What is more troubling is how often such cases are explained away before the facts have been fully examined.
The Twisha Sharma death case has seen rapid developments, including a CBI probe recommendation, CCTV controversy, bail disputes and allegations of influence over the investigation.

The Madhya Pradesh government has recommended a CBI probe into the death of Twisha Sharma, even as her family alleged that the investigation was delayed because of the “power and influence” of the accused.
Twisha, a Noida resident, had married Bhopal-based Samarth Singh in December 2025. She died on May 12 at her matrimonial home in Bhopal, following which her family alleged mental torture and dowry harassment by her husband and in-laws.
