Zara Sambhal Kay (2018)

The film was a cybercrime thriller. It dealt with the world of online fraud and scammers preying on unsuspecting victims. The cast included Sachin Srivastava, Raghav Kumra, Manoj Trehan, Jatin Chandolia, Aashna Makkar, and Twisha Sharma.

Twisha played a character named Niaara. Niaara is part of a cyber fraud syndicate that targets ordinary people. Over the course of the film, her character turns herself in to the police and confesses her role in the racket. It was a morally layered role for a debut, not the hero, not entirely a villain.

Mugguru Monagallu (2021)

Three years after her debut, Twisha appeared in ‘Mugguru Monagallu’, a Telugu-language comedy thriller. The film released on August 6, 2021. It was directed by Abhilash Reddy Gopidi and produced by P. Achyut Ramarao under the banner Chitra Mandhir Studio.

The title translates to ‘Three Courageous Men’ in English. The runtime was 120 minutes.

The story follows three men, each with a different disability. Srinivasa Reddy played Sushanth, a deaf man who works at an internet service provider. Dheekshith Shetty played Chandrathreya Kishore Varma, a mute librarian. Vennala Ramarao played Deepak, a blind dog trainer. The three men each come to the police with clues tied to a series of political murders in Hyderabad. The plot follows how they help crack the case.

The music was composed by Suresh Bobbili. Cinematography was handled by Anji. The film was edited by Bonthala Nageswara Reddy. Raja Ravindra played the ACP. Other cast members included Gemini Suresh, Josh Ravi, Bhadram, and Jabardasth Sunny.

Twisha played Anjali D, a speech-impaired woman. Her character develops a romantic relationship with Dheekshith Shetty’s character. It was a supporting role, but one that matched the film’s central theme of characters navigating the world without one of their key senses.

The film holds a 6.1 rating on IMDb. It is currently available to stream on Prime Video.

Director Abhilash Reddy later spoke about Twisha after news of her death broke. He recalled meeting her parents at the film’s premiere. Actor Dheekshith Shetty also expressed shock and grief publicly.
