In the early hours of Sunday, Telugu actor K Bharath Kanth and cinematographer G Sai Trilok were killed in a road accident on Hyderabad’s Outer Ring Road. The accident took place on the ORR stretch between Bongloor and Thukkuguda, near exit number 12. Bharath Kanth was driving the car when it crashed into a container truck moving ahead of them. Both men died on the spot.
Who were the victims?
Bharath Kanth was a Telugu actor, YouTuber, and dancer. G Sai Trilok was a cinematographer. Both were 31 years old and were considered rising talents in the Telugu film industry.

The two were residents of Nellore district in Andhra Pradesh and had worked together on several short films, movies, web series, and other media projects.
Adibatla Inspector B Ravi Kumar confirmed that Bharath Kanth was driving the car when it rammed into a container truck ahead.
Police said the accident is believed to have happened due to rash and negligent driving. A case has been registered and the bodies were shifted for post-mortem examination.
The two were returning to Hyderabad from Nellore when the accident occurred near Exit No. 12, Bonguluru, within the Adibatla police station limits.
Bharath Kanth’s work in Telugu cinema
Bharath Kanth’s most notable works included the 2021 film ‘Gramam’ and the 2024 film ‘Tenant’, where he played a lead role.
He also appeared in web series such as ‘Geethanjali’ and ‘Parvathi Parameshwarlu’.
After the incident, police shifted the bodies to Osmania General Hospital for post-mortem examination. Later, the bodies were handed over to the victims’ family members.
Industry reacts
Bigg Boss Telugu Season 3 contestant Ashu Reddy took to Instagram to mourn Bharath’s death. She shared pictures with the late actor and wrote that this was a personal loss to her. She called him her best friend, emergency contact, and family.
Actress Chandhine Kaur also commented on Bharath’s last post, saying it was made for her and that he had been the greatest thing to happen in her life.
Adibatla Police stated that a case has been registered and they are currently investigating the matter.
