Senior BJP leader Sanjay Tandon on Monday lauded the Bharatiya Janata Party’s remarkable performance in the recent Assembly elections, describing it as a reflection of the people’s growing trust in the party’s vision and governance.
He highlighted the party’s historic victory in West Bengal, the successful retention of power in Assam, and significant inroads made in Kerala and Tamil Nadu as milestones that underline the BJP’s expanding national footprint.

Tandon said the BJP has wrested West Bengal, alleging rampant illegal infiltration of Bangladeshis under the ruling TMC. He added that the party will now focus on Punjab, which shares a border with Pakistan, making it strategically sensitive from a national security perspective.

“Now the nation’s focus is on Punjab, where change seems inevitable in favour of the BJP,” he said.
He added, “The BJP’s resounding triumph is a victory of trust over fear, and reflects people’s continued confidence in the governance model of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Women have taught the Left, Congress, and TMC a lesson for opposing the 33 per cent women’s quota.”
Tandon credited the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for the party’s success, saying their commitment to development, inclusive governance, and strong organisational strategy has resonated deeply with voters across diverse regions.
“The results clearly indicate that the people of India are endorsing the BJP’s agenda of progress, transparency, and nationalism. Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Modi and the strategic guidance of Amit Shah, the party continues to break new ground and strengthen its presence across the country,” he said.
He further added that the BJP’s growing acceptance in southern states like Kerala and Tamil Nadu is a significant indicator of changing political dynamics and reflects the party’s sustained efforts to connect with people at the grassroots level.
Tandon expressed confidence that the BJP will continue to serve the nation with dedication and work tirelessly towards realising the vision of a strong, prosperous, and inclusive India.
