Punjab Cabinet clears Monsoon Session from August 3, approves key decisions
The Punjab Cabinet led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Tuesday gave the nod to hold the Monsoon Session of the state assembly from August 3 to August 10.

Sachdeva said the way Mann staggered into the Assembly and allegedly spoke with slurred speech is something that raises serious questions about the Speaker as well, why he did not stop him.

The BJP leader added that the manner in which Punjab CM appeared in a state of frustration, after allegedly consuming alcohol, indicates he has lost confidence in the stability of the state government led by him.

Sachdeva mentioned that this is not the first time Mann entered a legislative body allegedly under the influence of alcohol, earlier, during his tenure as a member of Parliament, he reportedly appeared intoxicated in the Lok Sabha as well.
“By staggering into the House and speaking in such a condition, he has crossed all limits of propriety,” Sachdeva said.
The BJP leader said not only people of Punjab but also of Delhi and the country are shocked by this behavior and want the Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal to take immediate disciplinary action against his party leader.
