Launching a scathing attack on Arvind Kejriwal for his letter to the High Court Judge, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta accused him of always raising vague questions on the constitutional bodies and judiciary so much so that it has become the style of working of the AAP chief.
She questioned the way Kejriwal has been behaving these days, saying he is boycotting the judiciary, announcing to go on Satyagraha, and demanding a judge of choice, etc.
Addressing the reporters on Monday, Gupta said Kejriwal is now in a state that he claims to be a lawyer, a witness, and the judge himself.
She said that the AAP chief, who is an accused in the alleged liquor scam case, questioning and making allegations against a Judge is simply unfortunate and unacceptable. “Raising questions on the judiciary is unfortunate. An accused in the liquor scam makes such allegations against a judge and comparing himself to Mahatma Gandhi and Bhagat Singh is shameful,” Gupta said.

She expressed displeasure over the AAP leader’s remarks and his alleged attempt to shield himself from the legal proceedings. She claimed that whatever noise the AAP leader is trying to make through all such theatrics is just to evade the charges of irregularities and added that by doing so, he cannot evade legal process.
Meanwhile, CM Gupta welcomed the seven MPs, including Swati Maliwal, Raghav Chadha and others, joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). She said it in the interest of the nation, the more honest hands join, those are truly connected with the spirit of “Nation First,” with the ethos of “Nation First,” the better it is!
Gupta said it is essential that the people, who neither love the country, its people, nor respect the armed forces and are guilty toward the nation, must be isolated.
