The Bhatt family just got a fresh dose of happy news, and this one came with a sparkling ring and a sweet caption. While everyone was busy scrolling, Shaheen Bhatt quietly dropped a life update that she is engaged! And the internet instantly turned it into a soft, romantic celebration.

Shaheen announced her engagement to fitness instructor Ishaan Mehra through a joint Instagram post. The couple kept things simple, playful, and very “them.”

Alongside dreamy garden photos, they wrote, “We may have overdone this whole liking each other thing (sic).”

In the pictures, Shaheen beams at the camera while proudly flashing her engagement ring.

A sweet family reaction that stole hearts

The first wave of love came from inside the family. Actor Soni Razdan jumped into the comments with an emotional message, writing, “Congratulations my darlings pieces of my (heart emojis) (sic).”

Her ex-partner and standup comedian Rohan Joshi wrote, “OMG OMG CONGRATULATIONS.”

Shaheen is the elder daughter of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan. Her younger sister, superstar Alia Bhatt, made her acting debut with Karan Johar’s ‘Student of the Year’ in 2012. Alia’s most recent theatrical release was Vasan Bala’s ‘Jigra’.

Alia is married to actor Ranbir Kapoor, and the couple will next appear together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film ‘Love And War’. They also share a three-year-old daughter, Raha Kapoor.
