Soon after the formation of the new government in Bihar, Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary swung into action. On Thursday, he met Deputy Chief Ministers Vijay Kumar Choudhary and Bijendra Prasad Yadav, Chief Secretary Pratyay Amrit, and other senior officials, and held discussions with them.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister reviewed various aspects of the functioning of the Chief Minister’s Secretariat. He also inspected different sections of the Secretariat and obtained detailed information about the arrangements.

He directed officials to double the pace of work, with a strong emphasis on implementing the Modi–Nitish model in the state. He instructed that a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption will be followed, while resolving land disputes and addressing public grievances will be given top priority.
Later, the Chief Minister visited Takht Sri Harimandir Ji, Patna Sahib, the birthplace of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj. He paid obeisance at the shrine and prayed for the happiness, peace, and prosperity of the state. On this occasion, members of the Harimandir Ji management committee welcomed him by presenting a ceremonial sword, angavastram, siropa, and a memento.
Speaking to journalists, the Chief Minister said the country is progressing under the inspiration of the Guru. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the nation is moving forward on the path of development. He noted that Nitish Kumar led Bihar for a long time and contributed significantly to the state’s progress.
He also mentioned that the 350th Prakash Parv was celebrated successfully and that the infrastructure in the area has been significantly improved. He expressed hope that the blessings of Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj remain upon the entire state, and wished for Bihar’s prosperity and the country’s development.
Later, Samrat Choudhary visited the JP residence, where he paid floral tribute to Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan by garlanding his statue. He recalled JP’s ideals and spoke about following his principles. The visit is being seen as politically significant.
Earlier, the Chief Minister met public representatives, party workers, and prominent citizens at his residence and accepted their greetings. The interaction reflected strong backing from party ranks and public representatives as he began his tenure.
