Hours after the ceasefire announcement, US President Donald Trump on Wednesday said that Washington will work closely with Iran following what he described as “a very productive regime change”, confirming sanctions and tariff relief for Tehran are also on the table as the two countries engage in further negotiations.

In a social media post on Truth Social, the US President asserted that there will be no uranium enrichment in Iran and Washington, working with Tehran, will dig up and remove all the deeply buried “nuclear dust.”

“The United States will work closely with Iran, which we have determined has gone through what will be a very productive Regime Change! There will be no enrichment of Uranium, and the United States will, working with Iran, dig up and remove all of the deeply buried (B-2 Bombers) Nuclear “Dust,” Trump said.

He stated that the nuclear material is under satellite surveillance and nothing has been touched from the date of US attacks, referring to the B-2 Bombers strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities last year.

“We are, and will be, talking Tariff and Sanctions relief with Iran. Many of the 15 points have already been agreed to,” he added.

The remarks came after Iran and the US announced a two-week ceasefire, with both claiming victory in the war.

Iran claimed that it agreed to the truce after a “brotherly request” from Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the US acceptance of Iran’s 10-point proposal as a basis for negotiations.

However, Iran’s Supreme National Security Council has warned that Tehran’s “fingers are on the trigger” and “any mistake by the enemy will be met with a full-scale response,” according to state media.
