According to insiders, Shah Rukh Khan is expected to appear as a police officer in ‘Jailer 2’. The role may not run throughout the film, but it is believed to be an extended cameo designed to leave a strong impression.

The actor is reportedly scheduled to shoot his scenes in March, and the filming will likely take seven to eight days. Once those scenes are completed, the entire film is expected to wrap up production.
The sequel is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, who also helmed the first film. Expectations are sky-high because ‘Jailer’ turned out to be massive blockbuster.

Sources close to the unit say ‘Jailer 2’ is being developed on the same exciting lines as the first film, which is another reason for the growing hype.

International distributor Ayngaran International revealed that the movie earned ₹33 crore worldwide on its very first day overseas. This marked the highest opening day collection in Rajinikanth’s career at the time.
That record-breaking start eventually helped the film grow into a global blockbuster.
The journey of ‘Jailer 2’ has already seen memorable moments. Last year, Rajinikanth celebrated his 75th birthday on the film’s set, making the occasion extra special for the team.
The sequel began its shooting schedule in Chennai, with production house Sun Pictures officially announcing the start of filming on March 10 last year.
Since then, the project has continued to gather attention from fans across India.
