In the final of the ACC Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars, India A Women produced a commanding all-round performance to defeat Bangladesh by 46 runs on Sunday, clinching the title in emphatic fashion.
Tejal Hasabnis starred with an unbeaten half-century, while captain Radha Yadav played a vital supporting role to lift India A to a competitive total, before the bowlers delivered a clinical effort to seal the championship win.

Batting first, India A posted 134/7 in their 20 overs after openers Nandini Kashyap (8 off 15) and Vrinda Dinesh (19 off 17, four boundaries) failed to convert their starts. Anushka Sharma (8 off 12) and Minnu Mani (0) also departed cheaply, leaving the middle order to rebuild.
Hasabnis anchored the innings with an unbeaten 51 off 34 balls, striking three fours and two sixes, while Radha Yadav chipped in with a crucial 36 off 30 deliveries to push India A past the 130-run mark. Hasabnis was named Player of the Match for her match-winning knock.

For Bangladesh, skipper Fahima Khatun led from the front with a superb spell of 4/25, while Farjana Easmin (1/30) and Fatema Jahan Sonia (1/19) also picked up wickets.
In reply, Bangladesh struggled to keep up with the required run rate and was bowled out for 88 in 19.1 overs. Shamima Sultana (20 off 16, three fours), Sarmin Sultana (18 off 29), Sadia Akter (10 off 15), and Fahima Khatun (14 off 11) offered resistance, but the chase never gained momentum.
India A’s bowlers shared the spoils, with Prema Rawat claiming a three-wicket haul (3/12), while Sonia Mendhiya (2/21) and Tanuja Kanwer (2/11) struck twice. Saima Thakor (1/11), Minnu Mani (1/17), and Radha Yadav (1/16) also contributed with wickets.
