Key highlights from Education Minister’s address:

Emotional Commitment to Students: Minister Sood said, “Every child in Delhi is our own child. Whether they are from a government school or a private one, the doors of my home and my office are always open to everyone 24/7.”

Role of ‘Local Guardian’: Amidst exam stress, the Minister comforted students, stating that Chief Minister Rekha Gupta’s government and he himself, as Education Minister, stand with them as their ‘Local Guardians’. He urged students to focus on their exams without any stress.

Attack on AAP’s ‘Optics’ and ‘Politics’: The Minister alleged that instead of resolving the dispute over the past five years, the AAP has made it a part of its ‘Politics’. He said that the school was sealed in the morning solely for ‘Optics’, and the court reopened it within minutes.

Ban on Coercive Methods: Citing Section 13 of the Fee Act, the Minister warned that the use of any ‘coercive method’ for fee collection will not be tolerated. He stated that a solution has been found in consultation with senior officials and parents.

In a message for students taking exams, Sood wished all the best to lakhs of students. He said, “Our responsibility is to provide students with mental stability and encouragement. We want every child in Delhi to bring glory to their family and city and excel in their academics.”

Minister Sood reiterated that the government’s priority is the performance and future of students, not playing “Twitter-Twitter.”
