East Coast Railway on Thursday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bank of India (BoI) for providing an enhanced salary package with a wide range of banking and welfare benefits for its employees and their families.

The MoU signing ceremony was held at Sabhagriha, Rail Sadan, Bhubaneswar, in the presence of senior officers of East Coast Railway and representatives from Bank of India.

Under this MoU, Bank of India will extend several employee friendly benefits, including unlimited free ATM transactions, free demand drafts, concessional locker rentals, personal accident insurance, educational grants for wards, and health insurance coverage with premium options, aimed at ensuring greater financial security and convenience for railway employees.

Speaking on the occasion, senior officials of East Coast Railway highlighted that the agreement reflects the organisation’s continued commitment towards employee welfare and providing access to comprehensive financial services on attractive terms.

Officials from Bank of India expressed their appreciation for the association with East Coast Railway and reiterated the Bank’s commitment to delivering efficient, technology driven and employee centric banking solutions.

The MoU is expected to benefit a large number of serving railway employees by offering improved banking facilities and value added services under a single salary account framework.
