Kerala Assembly pays tribute to Ajit Pawar after fatal Pune plane crash

The Kerala Assembly on Wednesday observed a brief silence to pay tribute to Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, who died in a plane crash at Baramati in Pune.

After the question hour ended, Speaker AN Shamseer informed the House about Pawar’s death and asked everyone to observe a brief silence.

Following this, members observed silence for a minute to pay tribute to Ajit Pawar. Forest Minister AK Saseendran, a member of the NCP(SP) National Working Committee, said that it was shocking and unbelievably tragic news.

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and four other persons were killed after an aircraft carrying them crashed in Pune district on Wednesday morning.
