Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel unfurled the national flag in front of the Vidhan Bhavan on the occasion of Republic Day on Maonday and took the salute of the parade.

The Jan Bhavan band and a tableaux based on the theme of ‘Vande Mataram’ were also presented.
The band of 37 students from Adarsh Secondary School located in Jan Bhavan was the center of attraction in the Republic Day 2026 parade.
The Jan Bhavan tableau, presented to commemorate 150 glorious years of ‘Vande Mataram’, was a vibrant and inspiring expression of national reverence.
On this occasion, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, along with other members of the state cabinet, Members of Parliament, Members of the Legislative Assembly, senior administrative, police and army officers, and a large number of common people were also present.
