Forget massive dragon wars and throne battles for a moment. ‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’ goes back to a simpler, rougher time in Westeros. This new series is based on George RR Martin’s beloved ‘Tales of Dunk and Egg’ novellas.

The story follows Ser Duncan the Tall, known as Dunk, and his young squire Egg. One is big, kind, and very unsure of himself. The other is small, sharp, and hiding a big secret. Together, they travel across Westeros, entering tournaments, meeting nobles, and getting into trouble they never asked for.

The show sets nearly 90 years before Game of Thrones, during Targaryen rule but after dragons have vanished. Power still matters. Bloodlines still matter. But now, common people have stories too.
