Defence Minister and Lucknow MP Rajnath Singh on Saturday interacted directly with intellectuals and heard their suggestions, problems, and ideas.

Addressing at the Shaurya Sandhya held at the SMS Stadium here Thursday evening, the Union Minister said, “I do solemnly announce from this land of mighty warriors that Operation Sindoor has not yet been ended. Until the very thought, mindset and approach of terrorism not eradicated, our task of establishing peace will continue.”

He said that the operation was not a routine military action, rather it was a well-planned and well-calculated surgical move that precisely targetted terror and terror perpetrators and kept humanitarian aspects intact.

Praising India’s soldiers and their humane nature, Singh said, “Our sainik is not merely a warrior, moreover, he is a skilled manager by brain and humane philosopher at heart. While clashing with an adversary, he is strong and ruthless, in dealing with surrendered enemies and suffering citizens, he has a humane heart.”
Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagade, his Mizoram Counterpart General VK Singh, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) General Anil Chouhan, Chief of the Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi and many other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
