K-pop supergroup BTS has officially announced an expansive world tour scheduled across 2026 and 2027, marking their much-anticipated return to the global stage after a two-year hiatus, according to Variety. The announcement has sparked excitement among fans worldwide, as it signals the group’s first full-scale tour since 2023.

The upcoming tour will feature a total of 79 concerts across 34 cities worldwide, making it one of the group’s most extensive tours to date.

Tour to kick off in South Korea

The seven-member group will kick off the tour with three hometown performances in Goyang, South Korea, on April 9 and April 11–12, 2026. Following the opening shows, BTS will head to Tokyo, Japan, before embarking on a major North American leg.

North American leg includes 28 shows

The North American portion of the tour will comprise 28 shows across 12 cities. BTS will perform in Tampa, El Paso, Mexico City, Stanford, Las Vegas, East Rutherford, Foxborough, Baltimore, Arlington (Texas), Toronto, Chicago and Los Angeles.

The group will conclude this leg with four concerts at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium on September 1–2 and September 5–6.

Europe and Latin America dates announced

Midway through the tour, BTS will return to South Korea for performances in Busan in June. The European leg will follow later that month and continue into July, with concerts scheduled in Madrid, Brussels, London, Munich and Paris.

According to Variety, the tour will then move to Latin America in October, with shows planned in Bogotá, Lima, Santiago, Buenos Aires and São Paulo.

Asia-Pacific shows planned for 2027

BTS will continue touring across Asia-Pacific regions in late 2026 and early 2027. Cities on the list include Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Jakarta, Melbourne, Sydney, Hong Kong and Manila.

New album to release alongside tour

The group has been on hiatus since 2023, as members focused on solo projects and fulfilled mandatory military service commitments.

The world tour announcement coincides with BTS’s upcoming album release on March 20, which will mark their first collection of all-new material since 2020 and signals a full-group comeback.

BTS consists of RM, Jin, Suga, J-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook.
