BTS has announced a new official book series as part of this year’s BTS Festa celebrations. The announcement came in partnership with Hachette Book Group’s Running Press, CAKE Corp, and BigHit Music.
The releases begin on September 15, 2026, and continue through 2027. The series marks the first time the group has released officially licensed books that go directly into their creative process and personal food preferences.

BTS Lyrics Inside
The first title out of the gate is a lyric book. “BTS Lyrics Inside” will feature commentary from members RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook discussing the songwriting and meaning behind some of the group’s songs, including “Spring Day,” “Life Goes On,” and “Yet to Come,” among others.
In “BTS Lyrics Inside,” the seven members analyze the songwriting process for tracks across their catalog. It covers a total of 10 songs. They include “Boy With Luv” featuring Halsey, “Spring Day,” “IDOL,” “Fire,” “ON,” “Life Goes On,” “Mikrokosmos,” “We Are Bulletproof: the Eternal,” “Yet to Come.”
Songs from the albums Proof and Most Beautiful Moments in Life will be broken down to explore their deeper meanings.
The book will include Korean lyrics alongside English translations, as well as explanations of expressions and notes on the songwriting process. This makes the book useful both for fans who want to understand the original language more closely and for those interested in how the members built their music.
The “BTS Lyrics Inside” hardcover edition is priced at $28.00. The ebook version is priced at $14.99.
BTS Recipe Book
The second title takes a very different direction. Rather than focusing on music, it looks at the food that has shaped the group across different stages of their career.
“BTS Recipe Book” will contain Korean dishes inspired by different eras of the group’s career. Recipes mentioned in reports include Korean fried chicken, spicy rice cakes, ginseng chicken soup, and braised short ribs.
The book is not just a collection of recipes. The cookbook will also feature cooking tips and video commentary connected to the members’ appearances on variety content such as “Bon Voyage” and “In the SOOP.” Both shows gave fans a closer look at the members in casual, everyday settings, and food featured heavily across both series.
The “BTS Recipe Book” hardcover edition is priced at $30.00. The ebook version is priced at $14.99.
Part of BTS Festa 2026
The book series was announced during BTS Festa, the group’s annual anniversary celebration. The event marks the anniversary of BTS’s debut on June 13, 2013. This year’s Festa included several announcements tied to the group’s ongoing activity as a reunited unit.
In other activity around the same period, the group digitally released the song “Come Over” on Spotify and other streaming platforms on June 12, 2026. It debuted at number 11 on Spotify Global with 5,315,119 streams. The track was previously available only as an exclusive bonus song on the deluxe vinyl edition of their album “ARIRANG,” which came out on April 3, 2026.
The group officially created an account on Threads on June 13, 2026, which has already reached over 4 million followers.
The group is also scheduled to perform at the iHeartRadio Music Festival on September 18, 2026, just days after the first books drop.
