If you thought Yash’s birthday celebrations were going to be low-key this year, think again! The Kannada superstar turned his special day into a full-blown cinematic event by dropping the teaser of his much-awaited film ‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown Ups’.
And as expected, the internet went absolutely crazy within minutes.

The teaser opens in a burial ground where a funeral is quietly underway, only to let a gang of men interrupt and lock the place down hinting at trouble ahead.
Just when the scene feels eerily calm, a car rolls in and a drunkard steps out lighting the fuse to what appears to be a deadly bomb.
What follows is a tense sequence showing the car moving mysteriously, and then an intimate moment between a man and a woman inside it. Yes, even romance comes with danger in this world. The bomb explodes. Chaos erupts. And the goons are engulfed in flames.
And then comes Yash looking sharper than ever. Dressed in a black tuxedo, sporting a long beard, holding a cigar and a gun, he delivers the punchline: “Daddy is home.”
Yash isn’t alone in this cinematic adventure. The first-look posters have already teased fans with appearances from Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Rukmini Vasanth, Huma Qureshi, and Tara Sutaria.

And while Yash and Geetu Mohandas co-wrote the story, Geetu also takes the director’s seat.
‘Toxic’ is being made on a grand scale. It is as a dual-language film in Kannada and English. But there are multiple dubbed versions in order to reach audiences far and wide.
