Nayanthara in ‘Toxic’: The wait is over for fans of Nayanthara! The makers of ‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups’ have unveiled the first look of the actress in the film.

Nayanthara will be seen playing Ganga, a fearless and strong-willed woman, in this upcoming action-packed drama led by actor Yash.

The poster released on Wednesday shows the actress standing at the entrance of a sprawling casino holding a gun with a determined expression.
Director’s vision on casting Nayanthara
Director Geetu Mohandas, who is helming the project, shared her excitement about casting Nayanthara.
“We all know Nayan as a celebrated star with a commanding screen presence, and a remarkable career spanning two decades. But in ‘Toxic’, audiences will witness a talent that had been quietly waiting to explode,” she said.
Mohandas added that as filming progressed, she realized how closely Nayanthara’s own personality resonated with Ganga’s fearless spirit.
Cast of ‘Toxic’
The film has already introduced other key characters. Kiara Advani plays Nadia, while Huma Qureshi appears as Elizabeth.
After the blockbuster success of ‘KGF: Chapter 2’, Yash makes his highly anticipated comeback with this bilingual project, shot in Kannada and English with dubbed versions in several Indian languages.
Both Yash and Geetu Mohandas have contributed to the writing of the film.
The movie is produced by Venkat K Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations. Technical talents include Rajeev Ravi handling cinematography, Ravi Basrur composing music, and Ujwal Kulkarni as editor.
‘Toxic’ release date
Fans won’t have to wait too long. ‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups’ is going to hit theatres on March 19, 2026, coinciding with the festive weekend of Eid, Ugadi, and Gudi Padwa.
