Mamata Banerjee, who turned 71 today, is a three-time Chief Minister and the first woman to hold the position in West Bengal. Although she was born on January 5, 1955, there has been some debate about her exact date of birth.

Despite frequent political differences and public disagreements between the two leaders, PM Modi’s gesture reflects goodwill on Mamata Banerjee’s birthday.
