Kannada and Tamil television actress Nandini CM, 26, was found dead at her paying guest accommodation in Bengaluru. Police are investigating the incident, while colleagues and fans mourn the sudden loss of the young TV star.

TRIGGER WARNING: The television world woke up to shocking news from Bengaluru. Kannada and Tamil TV actress Nandini CM, just 26 years old, has allegedly died by suicide.
Nandini was known for her warm screen presence and strong performances in popular daily serials.

Nandini was staying at a paying guest accommodation in Mylasandra, Kengeri, Bengaluru. She had been living there for some time because of her television work.

According to police information, the incident is believed to have happened late at night, between 11:16 pm on December 28, 2025, and 12:30 am on December 29, 2025. The matter came to light the next morning when police were informed around 9:15 am.
As per police records, Nandini had gone out to meet a friend that evening and returned to her PG late at night. Later, when she did not respond to phone calls, the friend became worried and alerted the PG staff.
When the staff forced open door to her room, Nandini was found unresponsive inside. Police reached the spot soon after and confirmed that she had passed away at that location.

Police also found a diary, believed to belong to Nandini. In it, she had written about her strong wish to continue acting and building her career in television.
Based on this, Nandini’s mother, GR Basavarajeshwari, filed a complaint requesting further legal process. She stated that there is no suspicion regarding her daughter’s death, according to police sources.
Nandini CM was familiar to Kannada and Tamil TV audiences. She acted in serials like Jeeva Hoovagide, Sangharsha, and Gowri. Her role in the Tamil serial ‘Gowri’, where she played contrasting characters, earned her special appreciation from viewers.
At present, there is no official confirmation about other factors related to her death. The case is being investigated by PSI Hanamantha Hadimani, and more details are awaited.
