It is pertinent to mention here that Vajpayee was the first non-Congress party prime minister to serve a full term in office.
In Panchkula, Chief Minister of Haryana Nayab Saini also paid tributes to Vajpayee and said, “Participating in the Good Governance Day program dedicated to Bharat Ratna, former Prime Minister, the revered Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Panchkula, I remembered him and paid an emotional tribute.”
Further praising the former PM, the Haryana CM said his life has been a symbol of complete dedication to service, good governance, and the national interest.
