After resigning, Nitin Nabin said that the responsibility entrusted to him by the party as National Executive President requires his full-time commitment, which is why he decided to relinquish the ministerial post.
Nabin has held multiple ministerial portfolios in the Government of Bihar. He served as Minister of Road Construction from February 2021 to August 2022. Between March 2024 and February 2025, he served as Minister of Urban Development & Housing and Minister of Law & Justice.
After the formation of the new government in Bihar a month ago, he was reappointed Minister of the Road Construction Department. He was given additional responsibility of the Urban Development and Housing Department in the state government.
During his tenure as a minister in the state government, he accelerated several initiatives in key departments such as road construction and urban development. His term is considered significant for advancing road projects, urban infrastructure development, housing schemes, and strengthening urban local bodies.
