‘Delimitation Bill’ to be reintroduced in monsoon session

The winter session of the Uttar Pradesh Legislature will commence on December 19. The brief session, lasting just four days, will conclude on December 24.
The decision to convene the session was taken during a cabinet meeting held by circulation last night.

During the session, the Yogi Adityanath government is expected to bring the first supplementary budget on December 22, and it will be approved on December 24, sources here said on Wednesday.

The session will also witness a heated debate on Special Intensive Revision (SIR), privatisation of the power sector, and other issues between the opposition and the treasury bench.
The first day of the state assembly will be adjourned after holding condolence references for the sitting SP MLA Sudhakar Singh.
