The lights were brighter than ever. The music was louder. The tension could be felt even through the television screens. After three long months of drama, tears, fights, love stories, betrayals and unexpected friendships, Bigg Boss 19 finally came to an end and actor Gaurav Khanna walked away with the glittering trophy and a prize money of Rs 50 lakh.
But as always with Bigg Boss, the victory did not come without controversy.

Some cheered for Gaurav. Some questioned his win. Some felt the trophy should have gone to someone else. And just like every season, social media exploded with opinions, praise and anger.
The Bigg Boss season 19 grand finale was a full entertainment package. Let’s rewind the night, the journey and what each finalist had to say after the curtains closed.
Gaurav Khanna: “This is a victory of an ordinary person”
When Salman Khan lifted Gaurav Khanna’s hand and announced his name as the winner, the actor looked stunned. For a few seconds, it felt like even he couldn’t believe what had just happened.
Gaurav Khanna won Bigg Boss 19 and took home Rs 50 lakh, but for him, the win was about much more than money.
After his victory, Gaurav spoke emotionally: “This journey is for my fans. This would not have been possible without them. This win is for every normal person who wakes up every morning and works hard. This is a victory of an ordinary person.”
He also spoke about how people doubted him throughout the season. “People taunted me. They questioned me. But I stayed true to myself.”
Inside the house, Gaurav was often seen as calm, controlled, sometimes too quiet for a reality show known for loud fights.
His team later shared a note online calling his journey “overwhelming and beautiful” and thanked fans for standing by him every single day.
Farhana Bhatt: The first runner-up who wasn’t happy with the result
Farhana Bhatt finished as the first runner-up, but her reaction after the finale grabbed more attention than her journey inside the house.
In a post-finale interview, Farhana openly said that she did not feel Gaurav deserved to win.
She said that during the show, “He never really did anything big. There wasn’t one moment where I felt he looked like a winner. But since he is a TV face, maybe his TV audience voted for him. So respect to their choice.”
Her statement quickly went viral.
Inside the house, Farhana was bold, loud, emotional and never afraid to speak her mind. Her fearless attitude won many fans. But it also earned her many enemies.
Tanya Mittal: “I came for love, not for the trophy”
Tanya Mittal secured the third runner-up position, and unlike the post-finale bitterness seen elsewhere, Tanya chose peace and positivity.
After her exit, she said calmly, “I did not come to win the trophy. I came to give love. And now I am getting so much love and support from people. That is more valuable than any trophy.”
Throughout the season, Tanya remained emotional, expressive and deeply connected to her feelings. She cried easily, loved deeply and often stood alone on matters she believed in.
Pranit More: The second runner-up who found his voice
Second runner-up Pranit More had one of the most interesting journeys inside the Bigg Boss house.
Before entering the show, Pranit admitted he was scared and clueless.
“I used to Google what the house temperature would be and what time they wake us up. I had never even watched Bigg Boss properly.”
But once inside, everything changed.
Pranit confessed that outside the house, he was very bad at confrontations.
“If I had a problem with someone, I would just block them. But here, I learned that you must face people and talk.”
That lesson changed him.
One of his happiest moments was doing a fun commentary task with Gaurav Khanna. “We laughed so much that we wanted to continue forever.”
His most emotional moment? “When someone told me to go back to my village during a fight. That really hurt.”
The finale night
The grand finale was not just about winners and losers. But it was a full entertainment roller coaster.
Several big stars added glamour to the final night. Ananya Panday and Kartik Aaryan came to promote their upcoming romantic film. Sunny Leone and Karan Kundrra promoted the new season of Splitsvilla. Bhojpuri superstar Pawan Singh set the stage on fire with his performance.
