This also reaffirms DTC’s dedication to transparency, responsible management of public funds, and its continued efforts to provide better transportation facilities and last-mile connectivity, Singh added.
Notably, DTC has recorded an average monthly income of ₹93.96 crore from April to October 2025 in the current fiscal year, compared to ₹68.54 crore in the previous financial year 2024–25, the minister said.
Singh stated that this growth clearly reflects the Delhi government’s strong commitment to strengthening public transport and ensuring efficient use of public resources.
Under the category of Ticket Income, DTC registered ₹220.33 crore between April and October 2025. Under the Subsidy Against Pink Tickets category, the corporation received ₹235.56 crore, reflecting the continued success of the Delhi Government’s free bus travel scheme for women—aimed at improving safety, empowerment, and access to jobs and education.
He further shared that under the Special Hire category, DTC generated ₹63.40 crore, while the Sale of Passes contributed ₹36.38 crore.
Notably, DTC recorded ₹102.04 crore under Miscellaneous Income (sale of scrap, interest earned, advertisement fee, rent receipts, penalties, LFB, etc.), further strengthening its overall financial performance, the minister said.
He stated that the transport corporation recorded a total income of ₹658 crore from April to October this year, reflecting steady financial progress.
“These figures show the positive impact of our continuous efforts to strengthen public transport in Delhi. DTC’s improved income and transparent operations underline our commitment to providing safe, reliable, and affordable transport for every citizen,” the minister said.
He added, “We will continue to support DTC in modernising its services for a better and more efficient public mobility system.”
According to the minister, with its strong financial performance, DTC continues to reinforce its role as the backbone of Delhi’s public transport system.
