Six people were killed when a government bus ran over a tempo on the Delhi–Lucknow National Highway on Sunday evening.
Police said six people including the auto driver and three women from the same family, died in the accident, while one person was injured.

Due to the impact, the occupants were thrown nearly 15 feet away, and the tempo was completely destroyed, with its entire rear portion crushed. The victims died due to severe head and facial injuries.

The passengers in the tempo were reportedly returning from a wedding in Rafatpur village under Katghar police station area.
The deceased have been identified as Seema, Aarti, Abhay, Suman, Ananya, and the auto driver, Sanju, all residents of Abdullapur, Kundarki.
