Speaking in detail about the situation in Tibet and Indo-Tibetan relations, he stated, “The Tibetan script is inspired by India’s Devanagari, and this reflects our centuries-old bond.”
“Many people are unaware that Tibet has 46,000 glaciers. India has always been the guru and Tibet its disciple. Whatever Tibet is today, it is because of India,” he said, “There is no nation more powerful than India.”
He also highlighted that due to restrictions imposed by China, travel to and from Tibet remains heavily controlled.
He expressed his admiration for Lucknow’s rich Nawabi culture and its unique linguistic charm, adding that he wishes to learn the language.
Expressing gratitude for President Penpa Tsering’s presence, All India Coordinator for Bharat-Tibet Dialogue Dr. Sanjay Mishra stated that Tibet’s freedom is not only crucial for Tibetans but also vital for India’s long-term security.
He added that China continues to claim several Indian cities, which may pose challenges in the future.
He urged that, as in Japan, the people of Lucknow should also boycott Chinese products, as the money of 1.4 billion Indians could indirectly reach Pakistan through China and fuel terrorism.
The event was graced by S.R.G.I Chairman & MLC Pawan Singh Chauhan, All India Coordinator for Bharat-Tibet Dialogue Dr. Sanjay Mishra, Vice Chairperson Sushmita Singh, Vice Chairman Piyush Singh Chauhan, along with several distinguished guests.
