Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai Bachchan recently attended the grand centenary celebrations of the late spiritual guru Shri Sathya Sai Baba in Andhra Pradesh, and the event also saw the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In the live video, Aishwarya was seen touching the feet of PM Modi.

The actress, who last appeared on the big screen in ‘Ponniyin Selvan: II’ shared heartfelt memories of her early connection with the guru. As a child, she was part of the Bal Vikas program, an initiative run by the Shri Sathya Sai Baba trust to guide young minds in living by the principles of Sanathana Dharma.

Speaking at the event alongside Narendra Modi, Aishwarya Rai said, “On this historic and sacred occasion of Bhagawan Shri Sathya Sai Baba’s centenary, my heart is full of devotion and gratitude. Even after a hundred years, his presence, teachings, and compassion continue to touch millions worldwide.” She also expressed her gratitude to Prime Minister Modi for honouring the occasion with his presence calling it a source of inspiration for all gathered.

Reflecting on the values she learned as a Bal Vikas student, Aishwarya added, “Swami often spoke about the five Ds, five essential qualities for a meaningful and spiritually anchored life. Once a Balvikar student, always a Balvikar student. I have always tried to hold his teachings close to my heart and put them into practice in my daily life.”
