RudraM-II passes crucial test as India sharpens indigenous strike capability

Air Marshal Jagjit Singh, PVSM, VSM (Retd.), Vice President of the Central AFA, attended as the Chief Guest. Addressing a large gathering of retired Air Warriors and their families, Air Marshal Singh commended the veterans’ service, sacrifice, and dedication to the nation.

The ceremony focused on honouring those who serve and have served. ‘Veer Naris’ (wives of martyred air warriors) were specially recognised and honoured on the occasion.

The senior-most members and distinguished veterans dedicated to social welfare post-retirement were also felicitated.
A delegation from Air Headquarters was present to directly address and resolve grievances related to pensions and documentation. The attendees were urged to promote awareness of the Agniveer recruitment scheme.
Heritage Foods Limited (represented by RTM), a co-sponsor, offered self-employment opportunities to the veterans through business partnerships.
The event concluded with cultural programmes, a reunion, and a feast, fostering great camaraderie among the Air Force fraternity.
