Malviya Nagar fire incident: Delhi Police conduct raids to apprehend hotel owner
Police officials said that the teams were conducting coordinated raids across multiple locations in the national capital to trace and arrested the suspect.
According to the Delhi Fire Service, they received a call about the incident at around 4:45 pm. An official stated that five fire tenders were immediately dispatched to the spot.

“The fire was in a book shop and stationery shop. The shop was in the basement, while the ground floor also had a bookshop. The fire involved books, and the cause is not yet known,” said the official.

The official added that the five fire tenders, which were pressed into service, brought the fire under control by 6 pm.
Local police were informed, and the entire area was cordoned off. The police said they are investigating the matter.
