Vaazha II: Biopic of a Billion Bros: After months of anticipation, the makers of ‘Vaazha 2’ have officially wrapped up filming for its much-awaited sequel. The second chapter in the popular ‘Vaazha’ franchise, directed by debutant Savin S A, stars a fresh ensemble including Hashir, Alan, Ajin, and Vijayan, alongside a mix of seasoned actors and new faces.
Producer Vipin Das took to Instagram to share the exciting news. “Finally, after 115 days…It’s a wrap for ‘Vaazha II – Biopic of a Billion Bros!’ As always, we are introducing fresh talents and technicians, along with actors you already love. Can’t wait to see you all in theaters soon!” he wrote.

For those new to the series, the original ‘Vaazha’, directed by Anand Menen, became a surprise hit. Featuring actors like Jagadheesh, Kottayam Nazeer, Azees Nedumangad, Noby Marcose, Siju Sunny, Sruthi Manikandan, the first film charmed audiences with its absolutely feel-good story.

The overwhelming response to the first film encouraged the team to turn ‘Vaazha’ into a full-fledged franchise, and here they are. Speaking at the time of announcing the sequel, Vipin Das said, “Thank you all for the overwhelming support for ‘Vaazha’. Your love inspired us to bring fresh talents on board again. We’re thrilled to launch ‘Vaazha II – Biopic of a Billion Bros!’”
He also introduced the core team behind the sequel: Savin S A as director, Akhil Lailasuran as cinematographer, and himself as the writer. Co-producers Harris Desom, P.B. Anish, Adarsh Narayan, and Icon Cinemas have also been integral to the project.
‘Vaazha 2’ had its filming across multiple international locations, including Dubai and Georgia. Just a week ago, the team wrapped up their final shooting schedule in the UAE. Overall, the shoot spanned over 106 days, covering diverse settings and sequences.
