Union Minister for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Jayant Chaudhary was unanimously re-elected as the National President of the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) at the party’s National Convention held in Kosikalan, Mathura.
Delegates at the convention welcomed him with thunderous applause upon his re-election as RLD president.

Jayant Chaudhary is currently a member of the Rajya Sabha.
The convention, held on Sunday, also featured extensive discussions on economic, social, and political proposals.
The economic proposal reiterated the party’s commitment to ensuring local employment in villages and towns to prevent the fragmentation of agricultural land and the migration of youth.
It also called for regulating the excessive use of fertilizers and water resources, promoting crop diversification, and encouraging environmentally sustainable farming practices.
The party’s social proposal emphasized the promotion of sports for the physical, mental, and economic development of youth, raising political awareness among young people aged 18 and above, and ensuring social dignity and political participation for women. It also called for policies that provide equitable benefits to disadvantaged sections of society.
The political resolution praised the Indian government’s efforts to maintain international credibility during a period of global instability. It urged all political parties to cooperate with the Election Commission to address discrepancies in the voter list. The resolution also commended India’s efforts to expand economic relations in response to US tariff actions.
