Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party (SP) National President Akhilesh Yadav celebrated the birthday of ‘Khazanchi’ at a function held at the party office on Monday.
Khazanchi Yadav, who was born in a queue during the demonetization drive in 2016, marked his ninth birthday this year. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has been celebrating his birthday every year since his birth.

On this occasion, Akhilesh Yadav said, “The Chief Minister is visiting Singapore and Japan. He should definitely take a bullet train to Kyoto and see whether bulls roam the streets there. When he returns, he should go straight to Kyoto (Varanasi) instead of Spain (Gorakhpur). Then he will understand.”

Akhilesh personally gave money as a birthday gift to Khazanchi and also collected contributions from his uncle Shivpal Yadav and other SP leaders. The child, in return, recited a poem dedicated to Akhilesh.
It is noteworthy that Akhilesh Yadav himself had named the child “Khazanchi” when he was born during the demonetization period.
