Responding to AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj’s allegations regarding a hospital, Delhi BJP spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor on Saturday claimed that the AAP leader, who is describing a 1,470-bed hospital as a grand facility, is actually referring to a cluster of six small hospitals built in porta cabins during the COVID period by the then Arvind Kejriwal government.
According to Kapoor, the construction of these hospitals was never completed, and the CAG has already released a report on the alleged corruption involved in their construction.

The BJP leader further stated that if the AAP leaders have courage, they should respond to the CAG report on this porta cabin hospital construction scam.
Kapoor hit out at Bharadwaj, saying that the AAP leader was himself the Health Minister in the past, and should answer whether this is a well-planned hospital project or just a temporary medical aid setup created during the Covid emergency ?..
The BJP leader further questioned the AAP leader, that if the said hospital was, as per his claims, ready, then why did the AAP government not operationalize it between 2021 and 2024?
Kapoor also questioned whether a grand hospital be really built in porta cabins, and whether the porta cabin hospital structure has any operation theaters or specialized OPDs for different diseases.
He alleged that Bharadwaj makes a false political statement every day, adding that it would be better if, instead of bringing one fake page daily from his book of lies, he brings the entire book at one go.
