Temperatures on Wednesday dipped across Jammu and Kashmir following snowfall at Gulmarg, Sonamarg, and other high-altitude areas of the UT.
The famous tourist destination, Gulmarg, witnessed fresh snowfall, covering Affarwat and the meadows in a white blanket. Sonamarg also witnessed snowfall.

The snowfall has brought smiles to the faces of tourists who were seen enjoying the weather, throwing snowballs at each other. The local stakeholders were expecting that the snowfall might break the jinx of tourism failure since the past few months.

Reports said that a white blanket of snow has covered Gulmarg, Sonamarg, Baltal, Zojila Pass, Razdan Top, Gurez Valley, Sinthan Top, Peer Ki Gali, and Tulail.
Several places in Ladakh also experienced snowfall.
