The Semi-Finals and Grand Finale of THINQ 25 – The Indian Navy Quiz, organised by the Indian Naval Academy (INA), commenced today at Ezhimala. Themed “MAHASAGAR”, this year’s edition highlights India’s enduring bond with the oceans, celebrating the nation’s maritime heritage, strategic foresight, and oceanic identity. Embodying the Indian Navy’s spirit of exploration and excellence, THINQ 25 underscores its commitment to fostering maritime awareness and curiosity among the youth.

In a statement issued here, the Naval spokesperson stated that a series of regional rounds were conducted across the country, which saw participation of 16 schools including Cambridge Court High School – Jaipur, Jayshree Periwal High School – Jaipur, Subodh Public School – Jaipur, Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan Senior Secondary School – Chennai, Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School – Chennai, DAV Public School Unit – 8 – Bhubaneswar, Santragachi Kedarnath Institution – West Bengal, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan – Kannur, K L International School – Meerut, Dewan Public School – Meerut, Sainik School – Kodagu, Dr Virendra Swarup Education Centre – Kanpur, St. Anthony’s Senior Secondary School – Udaipur, Spring Dale Senior School – Amritsar, PM Shri JNV – Samastipur, Shiksha Niketan – Jharkhand.

These schools represented four zones — North, South, East, and West — which then qualified for the semi-final phase. These 32 Semi-finalists will compete for the prestigious THINQ 25 Trophy, showcasing exceptional intellect, teamwork, and knowledge, the spokesperson added.

Aimed at “Charting India’s Maritime Mindscape,” THINQ 25 seeks to ignite curiosity and awareness among students about India’s maritime traditions, contemporary naval power, and the importance of the seas in shaping the nation’s destiny.

THINQ 25 stands as a flagship initiative of the Indian Navy to engage, educate, and inspire young minds, steering them toward a deeper appreciation of India’s maritime domain and its vital role in the nation’s future, the Navy added.
