White Paper exposes Kerala’s Rs 5.07 lakh crore debt crisis
The White Paper on Kerala's Finances titled "Kerala's Fiscal Health: A Status Report" has officially revealed that the state's total public debt has escalated to Rs 5.07 lakh crore.

Vice-President of India C P Radhakrishnan will arrive in Kerala on a two-day visit on Monday. This will be his maiden visit to the state after assuming office.
On the first day of his visit the Vice-President will attend the diamond jubilee celebrations of the Fatima Mata National College in Kollam. The college, a leading higher education institution in the region, is marking 75 years of academic service. On the same day, he will interact with members of the Federation of Indian Coir Exporters Associations (FICEA) in Kollam.

On Tuesday, the Vice-President will visit the prestigious Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology(SCTIMST), in Thiruvananthapuram. The institute under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, focuses on high quality patient care, technology development of industrial significance and health research studies of social relevance.
