Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, will hold joint rallies with RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav on Wednesday for the Bihar Assembly Election 2025.
The rallies will be organised in the Sakra Assembly constituency of Muzaffarpur in support of Congress candidate Umesh Ram and in Darbhanga, where both leaders will address public meetings backing the INDIA Alliance candidates.

Rahul Gandhi had earlier spent 16 consecutive days in Bihar, covering a 1,300-kilometre journey as part of the ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’ to protest against alleged vote theft. His last visit to Bihar was on 1 September, when the Yatra concluded in Patna.
While top leaders of other parties have been actively campaigning, Gandhi’s absence has become a major talking point in Bihar’s political circles. His apparent non-participation in the campaign so far has caused anxiety among party workers and given NDA leaders an opportunity to target him, claiming that he is staying away because he already knows the election outcome.
Several senior Congress leaders have expressed concern that speculation over internal disputes, dissatisfaction with ticket distribution, and Rahul Gandhi’s distance from the campaign could prove to be a psychological setback for the party.
However, political observers believe Rahul Gandhi’s limited campaigning is part of the INDIA bloc’s collective strategy to keep the election focused on a “Tejashwi vs Nitish” contest rather than turning it into a “Rahul vs Modi” battle.
Dismissing rumours of internal rifts within the alliance, Tejashwi Yadav said on Sunday that Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi would soon join the campaign. He also confirmed that a meeting of alliance partners had been held to finalise the joint manifesto for the Bihar election, which will be released on Tuesday.
