As the festival of lights draws near, every corner of India is glowing with excitement. Homes are being cleaned, decorated, and lit up with lamps and flowers and Bollywood sisters Shilpa Shetty and Shamita Shetty are no different.

The Shetty sisters have always celebrated Diwali with love and joy and this year they gave fans a warm glimpse into their festive spirit. On the eve of Diwali, Shilpa took to Instagram to share a cheerful video straight from her home. The clip showed the duo busy creating beautiful rangolis.

In the video, Shamita was sitting on the floor fully focused as she designed her rangoli freehand. Her attention to detail and creativity shone through. Meanwhile, Shilpa chose a slightly easier route using stencils to make her rangoli just as elegant. The two sisters laughed, chatted, and enjoyed the process together.

At the end of the video, both sisters came together to wish their fans a heartfelt “Happy Diwali.”

Diwali, also known as Deepawali, is celebrated across India and by millions around the world. Known as the “festival of lights,” it marks the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil. According to legend, it commemorates Lord Rama’s return to Ayodhya after defeating the demon king Ravana. The celebration is full of glowing diyas, colourful decorations, and prayers to Goddess Lakshmi.
