Ambani family sends gifts for Goddess Annapurna in Varanasi

A special adornment event will be held at the Goddess Annapurna Temple here on Dhanteras following the temple receiving make-up, saree and jewelry by the Ambani family as gifts.

Temple Mahant Shankar Puri said that a saree, jewelry and make-up were received as gifts for Goddess Annapurna’s adornment. The adorment will be performed on the day of Dhanteras.

The darshan of the Goddess’s golden idol will be available from October 18 to 22. Devotees will enter the temple from the Bans Phatak, Kotwalpura Gate, via the Dhundhiraj Ganesh Temple. They will access the Golden Goddess’s temple complex on the first floor via temporary stairs.

At the first-floor entrance, devotees will be distributed Mata’s laddus as prasad. After darshan, the devotees will exit through the Ram Temple complex via Kalika Gali.

For security purposes, volunteers with identity cards will be deployed at various locations throughout the temple complex.

Temple manager Kashi Mishra stated that two dozen CCTV cameras have been installed within the temple complex for security purposes. Additionally, a medical team has also been arranged.
