The Minister also stressed on simplifying procedures where necessary to enable smoother implementation, and to maintain transparency and accountability throughout the process.

Reviewing Deloitte’s progress, Singh directed the team to ensure that all assigned projects deliver tangible results on the ground. He emphasized the need for strict adherence to deadlines and measurable outcomes, underlining that tourism will be a major driver of employment, investment, and infrastructure growth in the coming years.
He further instructed that weekly reviews of homestay and B&B schemes be conducted by the Joint Director (Tourism), while the Director General of Tourism should review progress every 15 days to identify bottlenecks and ensure timely resolutions.
Senior officials including Principal Secretary (Tourism, Culture & Religious Affairs) Amrit Abhijat, Director General (Tourism) Rajesh Kumar, MD UPSTDC Ashish Kumar, Tourism Advisor J.P. Singh, and Deloitte Coordinator Kartik attended the meeting.
