Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Shiv Shanti Ashram in Lucknow on Thursday to pay his last respects to the Ashram’s head priest, Sant Shiromani Sai Chanduram Ji.

He laid a wreath on the mortal remains of Sant Shiromani and expressed his deep condolences to the devotees gathered in mourning.

During the visit, CM Yogi draped Sant Shiromani’s mortal remains with a saffron robe and paid homage by offering flowers at his statue. Sant Shiromani Sai Chanduram Ji passed away on Wednesday.

Expressing grief over his passing on social media, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath wrote, “The passing of Sant Shiromani Shri Sai Chanduram Sahib Ji, the prominent religious leader of the Sindhi community and head of the revered Shri Shanti Ashram, is an irreparable loss to the spiritual community. My condolences are with his grieving followers. I pray to Lord Jhulelal to grant his soul peace and his followers strength to bear this loss. Om Shanti!”

A large crowd of devotees gathered at the ashram during the Chief Minister’s visit, paying heartfelt tributes and pledging to follow the path and ideals set by Sant Shiromani Sai Chanduram Ji.
