The Bharat Rannbhoomi Darshan Inter-School Quiz was hosted by the United Service Institution of India (USI), here Wednesday. Eighteen premier schools from the National Capital Region participated in the competition meant for students of Classes IX to XII.
Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan emerged as the winner of the competition, followed by Air Force School, Subroto Park in second place and Summer’s Field School, Kailash Colony came in third.

GD Goenka School and Indraprastha International School received special mentions for their commendable performance. All participating students were awarded certificates of participation in recognition of their effort and enthusiasm. The quiz was conducted by K.S. Nair, a noted military historian and author, who has published several acclaimed works on the Indian Armed Forces.
Chief Guest Director General Integrated Training, Lt Gen Ajay Ramdev, presented prizes to the winning teams and addressed the young participants, commending their knowledge and enthusiasm. The Bharat Rannbhoomi Darshan initiative was launched by the Indian Army on the 76th Army Day in 2024, with the aim of enhancing public awareness of India’s rich military legacy and historic battle-sites, promoting battlefield tourism, and integrating these locations into the national tourism landscape, a statement from the army spokesperson read.
