Ameesha Patel reminisces golden days with Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan

Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel is in a nostalgic mood these days. The ‘Gadar 2’ star took her fans back in time on Sunday with a heartfelt throwback post.

Ameesha shared an old picture on Instagram from a dinner party she hosted at her Mumbai home years ago. The photo featured her with actor Hrithik Roshan and his ex-wife Sussanne Khan, all smiles as they chatted over drinks.

Hrithik is leaning on a chair behind Ameesha, while the trio looks completely at ease.

Along with the picture, Ameesha wrote a long emotional note about the special bond they shared back then. “SUNDAY THROWBACK, the cutest dinner party at my Mumbai Residence!! @hrithikroshan n me had finished wrapping a schedule of filming,” she recalled.

She went on to write, “As always, we were happy to celebrate our sweet n cute milestones n we did!! This time was an impromptu dinner at my home! @hrithikroshan n @suzkr n me were always an inseparable cute trinity!! Golden days when friendships between costars existed beyond the films they worked on and not just temporarily for that filming duration.”

Her post quickly caught attention online, with fans calling it a beautiful reminder of the early 2000s Bollywood era when Ameesha and Hrithik were among the most popular on-screen pairs after their debut hit ‘Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai’.

Interestingly, this isn’t the first time the actress has revisited those early memories. Recently, Ameesha also shared unseen photos from the day she signed ‘Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai’. The pictures showed her celebrating with Hrithik and his father, filmmaker Rakesh Roshan.

In one of the pictures, Hrithik is pouring champagne as Ameesha holds two glasses. Another photo captures a sweet moment where Ameesha is feeding cake to Rakesh Roshan.

Wishing the veteran filmmaker on his birthday, she wrote, “@rakesh_roshan9, these are pictures from my home in South Mumbai the day after I signed ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai’ n we opened champagne to celebrate before starting our shoot schedule!!”

Calling Rakesh Roshan her mentor, she added, “From then to now u have been a beacon of inspiration with ur hard work, discipline, professionalism, organisation n true resilience in the face of all adversity! It was a privilege to be your discovery. Your SONIA forever.”
